It has been confirmed that Britney Spears will be releasing her new greatest hits album "The Singles Collection" along with the new single, "3." "3" is due for release on September 29, 2009. The new album will come in two versions, standard version, which contains 17 of Britney's previous singles and the new single, "3," and the ultimate fan box set which will contain two discs containing all of her 29 singles plus her new single "3." Each disc in the collectors' set will come in its own slip sleve in a boxed collection. Along with this set will be a DVD featuring all of Spears's videos in chronological order. Another addition to the collector's item will be an exclusive booklet with iconic pictures and fun facts from Spears's videos. The new album is set for release on Tuesday, November 24, 2009.
